Metallurgical Industry
The metallurgical industry refers to the industrial sector that mines, selects, sinters metal ores, and processes them into metallic materials. It is divided into: (1) the black metallurgical industry, which is the industrial sector that produces iron, chromium, manganese and its alloys. It mainly provides raw materials for modern industry, transportation, basic construction, and military equipment; (2) The non-ferrous metallurgical industry refers to the metal refining industry sector that produces non ferrous metals, such as copper smelting industry, aluminum manufacturing industry, lead zinc industry, nickel cobalt industry, tin smelting industry, precious metal industry, rare metal industry, etc.
