Thick walled elbows use wear-resistant steel as the basic material and can be used in various pipeline systems. Such as abrasive wear, erosion wear, corrosion wear, impact wear, etc.
The inspection of thick walled elbows should start from material preparation and continue throughout the entire installation process until completion and production. Each process must undergo self inspection and specialized inspection before proceeding. The key points of inspection are material quality, pipeline cutting section quality, welding quality, assembly, installation levelness and verticality, pipeline protection, non-destructive inspection, water pressure test, etc. The cut section of the pipeline should be flat, smooth, and free of burrs, and the end face should be perpendicular to the centerline of the pipe; Welding quality requirements: The surface of the weld seam should be uniform in width, with uniform and beautiful welding waves. The width difference of the weld seam should be less than 1. The internal and external reinforcement should be 0-0.2mm, and local depressions should be less than 0.2mm. There should be no undercuts, cracks, incomplete welding, welding deviation, and other defects; The level and verticality of the pipeline shall comply with the requirements of GB50235-97, and there shall be no errors; The surface of the pipeline should be free from iron ion corrosion, scratches, scratches, soil, dirt pollution, etc. Non destructive testing, water pressure testing, water flushing, etc. shall be carried out according to conventional process methods.
